IATA LAR Crate Standards
Most airlines require crates certified to IATA Live Animals Regulations, with secure ventilation, leak-proof flooring and correct sizing for the animal.
Vaccinations & Rabies Titer
Up-to-date rabies vaccination is required almost everywhere. Many international destinations also require a rabies antibody (FAVN) titer test, sometimes with a waiting period before travel.
Import & Export Permits
Regional and international moves usually require an export permit from the origin country and an import permit from the destination, along with a veterinary health certificate issued shortly before departure.
EU & US-Specific Rules
The EU applies Regulation 576/2013 for non-commercial pet movement, while the US follows CDC and USDA import requirements. Both have microchip and documentation standards we help you meet.
Seasonal & Breed Restrictions
