Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most about local, regional and international pet relocation.

How far in advance should I book my pet's relocation?

For local transfers, a few days' notice is usually enough. For regional or international relocation, we recommend starting the process 6-12 weeks ahead, since permits, vaccinations and rabies titer testing can take time depending on the destination.

What crate does my pet need?

All pets travel in IATA Live Animals Regulations (LAR) compliant crates. Our team will help you select or source the correctly sized, ventilated crate for your pet's breed and route.

Can I travel in the same cabin as my pet?

On select international routes we offer an in-cabin flight nanny service, where a trained escort accompanies your pet. Availability depends on the airline and destination.

Do you handle quarantine and customs paperwork?

Yes. Our documentation team manages health certificates, import/export permits and destination-specific customs requirements for regional and international moves.

Where are you based?

Our office is at Rosslyn Mall, Nairobi, Kenya. You're welcome to visit for an in-person consultation, or reach out through our contact page.

What happens if my pet's flight is delayed?

Our veterinary crisis team covers boarding, meals and re-routing at no additional cost if a flight is affected by an airline delay or documentation issue.
